4" - 6" Bream

With the bream you almost get two species in one, small bream called 'skimmers' have very silvery scales, down turned mouths with rubbery lips and fight hard, once they reach about 1lb they stop fighting so hard, take on a darker appearance and they're humped back becomes very prominent. Bream are a favourite with match anglers as they have a tendency to shoal up and so often large amounts can be caught in a single session.
