6" - 8" Crucian Carp |
A lot of controversy has surrounded this fish in recent years because of its ability to hybridize with normal carp creating a fish that looks very similar to the true crucian but with the ability to grow much larger, it will always be difficult to avoid these type of fish in any fishery where both species exist, but by stocking true crucians in the first place helps a great deal, Jon Wall Fisheries can supply 100% true crucians. Like bream, tend to shoal up and so large catches can be made in the right conditions, a big bag of crucians is a truely great sight indeed.
